Dear colleagues, history teachers at all levels of education,
Artificial intelligence has become an almost everyday part of our conversations and activities related to teaching history. No other educational technology has entered the educational sphere as quickly and deeply as artificial intelligence in the last two years. This topic is discussed in school halls, at conferences and to some extent among policymakers. To better monitor the development of artificial intelligence and influence its application in teaching history, we invite you to join us in launching the “Clio AI Community”.
We plan to hold the initial meeting in a month. On this page, we will publish a form for applications of interest and registration for a Zoom meeting. The meeting will be held on July 29, 2024, starting at 18:00 CET.
Some ideas for joint activities:
– display and review of tools
– dissemination and translation of professional and scientific articles that discuss the use of artificial intelligence in history teaching
– monitoring news from various countries (legislation, curricula, digital materials, textbooks, etc.)
– holding education and round tables
– the possibility of organizing conferences
