Smatrali su da su takvi oblici umjetni\u010dkog izra\u017eavanja &#8220;bolesni&#8221;, &#8220;izopa\u010deni&#8221; i \u0161tetni za &#8220;arijevsku du\u0161u&#8221;. Me\u0111u autorima su bila i neka od najva\u017enijih imena europske moderne umjetnosti, uklju\u010duju\u0107i <strong>Georga Grosza<\/strong>, <strong>Ernsta Ludwiga Kirchnera<\/strong>, <strong>Paula Kleea<\/strong>, <strong>Oskara Kokoschku<\/strong>, <strong>Emila Noldea<\/strong> i druge. Iako su neki od ovih umjetnika bili Nijemci i \u010dak simpatizeri nacizma (kao Nolde), to ih nije spasilo od progona. Njihove slike bile su prikazane na na\u010din koji ih je trebao ismijati \u2013 bez opisa ili s pogrdnim komentarima, ponekad uz visoke cijene koje su trebale pokazati \u201erasipnost\u201d weimarske odr\u017eavala se <em>Velika njema\u010dka umjetni\u010dka izlo\u017eba<\/em> (<em>Gro\u00dfe Deutsche Kunstausstellung<\/em>) u novoizgra\u0111enom <em>Haus der Deutschen Kunst<\/em> (Ku\u0107a njema\u010dke umjetnosti). Tamo su bili izlo\u017eeni radovi koji su odgovarali nacisti\u010dkom idealu \u2013 klasi\u010dni realizam, motivi seljaka, vojnika, arijevskih obitelji i heroiziranih tjelesa. Time je stvoren jasan kontrast izme\u0111u \u201ezdrave, narodne umjetnosti\u201d i \u201epokvarene, dekadentne umjetnosti\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unato\u010d uvredljivom tonu izlo\u017ebe, <em>Entartete Kunst<\/em> privukla je golemu pozornost. Vidjelo ju je vi\u0161e od <strong>dva milijuna posjetitelja<\/strong>, \u0161to ju \u010dini najposje\u0107enijom izlo\u017ebom suvremene umjetnosti u povijesti Njema\u010dke. Reakcije su bile razli\u010dite \u2013 dok su neki prihva\u0107ali slu\u017ebenu interpretaciju, drugi su u ti\u0161ini pokazivali divljenje prema zabranjenim djelima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ova izlo\u017eba nije bila samo napad na odre\u0111ene umjetnike, nego i izraz poku\u0161aja totalitarnog re\u017eima da u potpunosti kontrolira kulturu, estetiku i slobodu izra\u017eavanja. Pokazala je kako se umjetnost mo\u017ee zloupotrijebiti u politi\u010dke svrhe te koliko je va\u017ena u oblikovanju kolektivnog identiteta. Pitanja koja ostaju aktualna i danas glase: <em>Tko odlu\u010duje \u0161to je umjetnost? Mo\u017ee li vlast odre\u0111ivati \u0161to je &#8220;prihvatljivo&#8221;? \u0160to se doga\u0111a kad dr\u017eava kontrolira kulturu?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pitanja za analizu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kada i gdje je otvorena izlo\u017eba <em>Entartete Kunst<\/em>?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Koji je bio glavni cilj nacisti\u010dke izlo\u017ebe degenerirane umjetnosti?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Po \u010demu se razlikovala izlo\u017eba <em>Entartete Kunst<\/em> od <em>Velike njema\u010dke umjetni\u010dke izlo\u017ebe<\/em> odr\u017eane istovremeno?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Za\u0161to su nacisti modernu umjetnost smatrali \u201edegeneriranom\u201c?
