Ova publikacija (nedostupna <em>online<\/em>), u kojoj se isprepli\u0107u fotografije, tekstovi i ilustracije, predstavljala je jedno od prvih cjelovitijih nastojanja da se ameri\u010dkoj javnosti predstavi razmjer nacisti\u010dkih zlo\u010dina. U samo \u0161est kadrova, strip iznimno izravno prikazuje stravi\u010dne <strong>scene iz <a href=\"https:\/\/povijest.net\/ca\/2025\/logor-smrti-majdanek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">logora Majdanek<\/a><\/strong> (oslobo\u0111en 22.7.1944.): dolazak zato\u010denika, njihovo prisilno skidanje i pripremu za \u201etu\u0161iranje\u201c, trovanje plinom, va\u0111enje zlatnih zuba iz tijela \u017ertava, spaljivanje tijela u krematoriju te, na kraju, cini\u010dni prikaz prodaje pepela kao gnojiva. Takva brutalna i otvorena naracija bila je iznimno neuobi\u010dajena za tada\u0161nju ameri\u010dku popularnu kulturu, a njezin u\u010dinak bio je sna\u017ean i \u0161okantan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Autor stripa, <strong>August Maria Froehlich<\/strong>, bio je austrijski ilustrator i karikaturist klasi\u010dne naobrazbe, koji je emigrirao u Sjedinjene Dr\u017eave. Njegov rad u ovoj antologiji isti\u010de se tehni\u010dkom vje\u0161tinom, ali i odlu\u010dno\u0161\u0107u da se kroz strip prenese poruka o u\u017easima nacisti\u010dkog re\u017eima. Froehlich je kroz svoju umjetnost uspje\u0161no spojio dokumentaristi\u010dki ton s vizualnim jezikom stripa, koriste\u0107i sna\u017ene kontraste i dramati\u010dne prikaze koji ne ostavljaju prostor za ravnodu\u0161nost.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"821\" src=\"https:\/\/povijest.net\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/the-bloody-record-of-nazi-naslovnica-600.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12001\" srcset=\"https:\/\/povijest.net\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/the-bloody-record-of-nazi-naslovnica-600.jpg 600w, https:\/\/povijest.net\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/the-bloody-record-of-nazi-naslovnica-600-219x300.jpg 219w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Publikacija <em>The Bloody Record of Nazi Atrocities<\/em> imala je jasan cilj \u2013 podi\u0107i svijest o nacisti\u010dkim zlo\u010dinima me\u0111u ameri\u010dkom javno\u0161\u0107u te dodatno motivirati potporu savezni\u010dkim vojnim naporima. Oni poti\u010du pitanja o granicama prikazivanja nasilja, ulozi vizualnih medija u obrazovanju te o na\u010dinu na koji dru\u0161tva oblikuju kolektivnu memoriju o genocidu. Froehlichov strip, iako stilom i narativom pripada drugoj polovici 20. stolje\u0107a, i dalje zadr\u017eava relevantnost jer jasno pokazuje kako mediji mogu poslu\u017eiti kao most izme\u0111u povijesnih \u010dinjenica i javnog suo\u010davanja s pro\u0161lo\u0161\u0107u.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U kontekstu nastave povijesti u Hrvatskoj, osobito u radu s temama holokausta i Drugoga svjetskog rata, ovaj strip mo\u017ee poslu\u017eiti kao izvrstan poticaj za razvoj kriti\u010dkog mi\u0161ljenja i vizualne pismenosti u\u010denika.
